Disease: When a sandfly of the region of the tropics, subtropics, and southern Europe lands on the victim and releases the early form of the protozoan parasite as the promastigote and allows the the parasite to grow until the cell enters phagocytes and then continues the cycle. the infection manifests itself as a cutaneous form of leishmaniasis and skin abrasions.

Druggable Target: GDPH strands of this protein utilize NAD to catalyze various processes within the protein complex, such as interference with the blood stream in order to prevent against sleeping sickness.
